Sam Ciaramitaro is a highly skilled and accomplished director, producer, and creative talent who has cultivated a diverse skill set over nearly two decades in the commercial and television industry. With experience spanning production, agency, and client-side roles, he brings a 360-degree understanding of the creative process to every project. Having worked on six continents, he has developed a global perspective that informs his ability to craft compelling brand stories across various scopes and screens.

One of Ciaramitaro’s greatest strengths is his deep interest in human emotion, which drives his work in episodic and sports documentaries. He takes the time to build genuine connections with his subjects, often traveling to observe and understand them in their own environments. This immersive approach results in compelling, authentic performances that resonate with audiences.

Ciaramitaro’s portfolio features an impressive roster of top brands, including Amazon, Chevy, Coca-Cola, Delta Air Lines, Ford Motor Company, Hyundai, Kellogg’s, the Marines, McDonald’s, Morgan Stanley, Nationwide, Porsche, Sharpie, Toyota, and the U.S. Army. His work has also engaged with significant social conversations, from his striking photo essay on the 2020 protests to Take Me Out to the Ballgame, a short film for the Chicago White Sox that boldly champions LGBTQ+ inclusion within the White Sox fan community.

Most recently, Ciaramitaro completed a year-long live activation and social video campaign for Sharpie. Prior to that, he produced a Super Bowl campaign, showcasing his ability to lead high-profile, high-impact projects at the highest level.

His creative excellence has been recognized with multiple Cannes Lions awards, including a Lion for directing and producing the U.S. Army campaign and another in 2019 for one of the first Western productions in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, he has written, produced, and directed a six-part docu-series in partnership with Major League Baseball, chronicling the journeys of minor league athletes striving for the Major Leagues.
Continuing to push the boundaries of his creativity, Ciaramitaro also hones his skills in photography, sharpening his eye for art direction and capturing raw, human emotion in his work.
